Starting Our Tour Of Beaches Near Cabrera Dominican Republic

Playa La Boca Near Cabrera at La Entrada

Playa La Boca Near Cabrera at La Entrada

Hi guys.  It’s Barry.  I thought I would take a few minutes and drive over to two of the eight world class beaches that surround Cabrera Dominican Republic.  Over the next few days I will try to let you take a peak at all of them.  The amazing thing about the beautiful, white sand beaches surrounding Cabrera is that you will rarely see a crowd, and on many days you may be the only soul enjoying your own private stretch of beach that is all yours for as far as the eye can see.  I have traveled all over the world as an underwater photographer, and no where else have I seen such unspoiled and uncrowded beaches right at your fingertips.

In this first video I visit Playa La Boca, which means the “mouth”.  The locals love to hang out in the fresh water that flows into the ocean at this point and everyone loves the deserted beaches.

Just up the road from Playa La Boca is Playa Diamante.  In this video you will see why moms like to take their kids to Playa Diamante.  The beach gently slopes out into a protected inlet allowing for shallow, calm waters for the kids to explore.  Playa Diamante is quite a unique inlet that will be perfect for development in the future.  But for now, it is just one more of the many unique and beautiful beaches surrounding Cabrera.

If you have not taken advantage of one of our free Discovery Tours, please do so that you can see and enjoy these and other beautiful beaches in Cabrera.  For now, it’s Barry in the DR.
