Property Ownership And Residency In The Dominican Republic – Our Attorney Explains

Real estate attorney in Dominican Republic

Real estate attorney in Dominican Republic

Hi guys, it’s Barry in DR.  I thought I would introduce you to the local attorney we work with to help our expat friends that want to purchase land or a home and to assist in residency in the Dominican Republic.  Dr. Julio Brea is one of the lead attorneys in one of the most prestigious law firms in the Dominican Republic, Guzman Ariza.   Dr. Brea works closely with expats on the north coast of the Dominican and is very good at cutting through any red tape or inefficiencies that you sometimes find in Latin countries.  As you can see in these videos, Dr. Brea is quite fluent in English and other members of his team can handle communications in other languages if needed.

In this first video Dr. Brea discusses what is involved in purchasing real estate in the Dominican Republic and why the process is safe if done correctly.Dr. Brea’s thought on the real estate process:

In this next video Dr. Brea discusses what is involved in the residency process and how Guzman Ariza handles all the details for our expats.

It off to the airport to pick up our next group of participants in the free Discovery Tours of the north coast.  I hope you will join us on a future tour if you have not yet participated.  If you would like to see what some of the other participants have said about their Discovery Tour, take a look at our testimonial page.  Until next time, it is Barry in the DR.
