Honestly I just don’t know how much longer the current goings-on can endure. Read the following article for an analogy of what I mean. We all know of once great prize fighters that were simply undefeatable. That is undefeatable while it was their time and they were in their prime. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on what side of the box you’re viewing it from time waits for no one. For western nations that time has now long passed and as you’re very soon going to see “Time Waits For No One” that holds true for nations and that also holds true for you.
Several past greats in the sport of boxing who for some reason or another should have retired with dignity (along with their winnings) and said enough is enough didn’t. Perhaps it was time for them to take a credible position still within the sport but outside of the ring. Consider viewing the box from the outside instead of continuing to view it from the inside. Instead of realizing that they had their time and claim to fame they for some reason still chose to continue fighting and eventually lost most if not all of their credibility. I’m sure you’re already starting to see where I’m heading with this.
From the 50’s till mid 80’s was such a time for the nation of the United States. When the dollar replaced the sterling that was the time this prize fighter was young in its prime condition… literally undefeatable by any other boxer (nation) that was foolish enough to try. That career started more or less 70 years ago but as with all careers time waits for no one and eventually someone else younger faster and stronger takes over and it’s their time in the lime light. At least for a while as the same holds true for them… once again time waits for no one. Hope you understand this as your future depends on this type of thinking.
From my last post “The Golden Rule” I mentioned for us that rule is flexibility. Flexibility is the rule that’s going to allow you to prosper in what’s coming. This means flexibility of thinking as well as flexibility in what actions you choose to take. This is why I feel that so many of the sovereignty promoting websites are merely saying the same thing as I am. By promoting such things as multiple passports, placing assets in different nations and even purchasing dirt in other countries are all examples of nothing more than exercising options in efforts to promote flexibility.
Let’s continue further with the point of this post. So now this tired old boxer of a nation still refuses to accept the universal laws of time waits for no one. It continues to look for an opponent regardless of the outcome of the fight. Ukraine recently held its vote on joining Russia. An impressive 80% plus voter turnout and overwhelmingly voted to rejoin the former nation they were originally part of…REJOIN being the operative word here. Not to mention this all occurred before this boxer was even born and eventually became a nation.
Still this tired old boxer refuses to accept their decision… WHY? Because he can’t accept his time has passed and just wants to fight where ever he can. This is all he knows how to do. Even though he’s already lost to all of his fictitious former opponents Libya, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan just to mention a few of his last defeats.
This punch drunk old boxer is so delirious that he’s forgotten that democracy was the entire advertising campaign of his own once great past career. Now he turns a blind eye (pardon the pun) to what once powered him to the lime light in the first place. When you change your campaign (what you originally stood for) you most likely will lose most of your original fans. Just ask the ever expanding list of former fans (citizens).
This tired old boxer just wants to find a fight where ever he can. He doesn’t care if he’s outmatched and going to get the shit knocked out of him as he’s already use to it and IT’S ALL HE KNOWS. In fact it’s getting harder and harder to actually book fights because nobody really even cares about seeing him perform anymore… he’s all smoke and mirrors… he’s a has-been way past his prime. If you want a great example of what I’m referring to watch a classic film titled “Requiem for a heavy weight.” You’ll understand exactly what’s meant if you do.
If this kind of action reminds you of the spoiled kid who swipes all the pieces off the game board solely because he’s losing and can’t change the rules his way… you’re correct. Looking far deeper a more devastating example of this would be the fall of the Roman empire. Follow the history of the fall of the Roman empire and soon you’ll discover it follows the exact same circumstances. Rome had already lost most of its power. Still Rome was trying to initiate wars with anyone solely for maintaining the illusion that they still possessed this power. I fear how it ended for them is not far from reoccurring again as history does have a way of repeating itself.
For so many former fans it seems time to look for another arena. There are many to choose from with locations all over the globe. All of these arenas have their plusses and minuses so one location can’t be right for all of these new fans. For some arenas it’s the climate, others it’s the space between the seats and still for others it may be the concessions it’s all up to the former fans to choose what feels best. For us and a whole group of new fans it seems to be a small arena named Cabrera on the north coast of the DR. For you it could be almost anywhere. In closing the one fact I do know is this. The next upcoming main event is one fight you definitely don’t want to be sitting in front row box seats… might want to consider viewing this one from the bleachers. Until next time this is Barry in DR.
