Check Out Boba Beach – The Next State Park Beach Near Cabrera

Barry In Cabrera Dominican Republic

Barry In Cabrera Dominican Republic

We had a day off to do a little more exploring up on the northcoast of the Dominican Republic, so Johnny and I decided to take one of the side roads down through a little fishing village to let you see a rustic hidden beach that is destined to become the next State Park Beach up here on the northcoast.

I hope you will enjoy coming along with us on our exploration of this region of the Dominican Republic.  Of course I want you to see a little more of the quaint villages and unspoiled beaches as you come along with us, but I also want to expand your horizons a little about possible investments.  As you will see, we take a short ride down through a pretty typical little fishing village.  Cute, but maybe not all that you should see as you ride through these little towns.  Many of these little “shacks” are sitting on prime beach property.  Similar beach property might sell for $300,000 to $500,000 for a similar quarter acre beachfront lot in Florida, or as much as $2,000,000 to $3,000,000 on the west coast in California.  As you will see, as we ride through this little village, I found one of the better little homes, right on the beach for only $40,000.  True, an investment here is a little before its primetime, but all the signs point to an excellent potential for a very good return on investment in the long run.

In this video we take a little detour through the quaint little fishing of Boba headed through to Boba Beach.  Boba Beach is in the very early stages of development and will be converted to another great State Park Beach, potentially running all the way to La Entrada.

If there is anything I hope you will glean from this little video, it is that there really are solid investment alternatives to the chaotic and risky stock market, 401ks and mutual funds.  I remember talking to so many people that had their dreams of freedom and retirement snipped in the bud as the markets crashed last time.  So many of them expressed regrets that they did not take some of their gains off the table last time and grab a foothold in the tropics while they could still afford it.  Well, it is that time again.  Financial disaster is probably tapping on your door again and it is time to act if you want to avoid the next batch of regrets.

Until next time, this is Barry in the DR.
